Youth Workers Association of Georgia is a membership based organization and it unites practitioner youth workers.

Becoming a member of the association is possible for any adult living in Georgia who has a desire to be involved in the associations' activities, has experience of working in youth / educational field, shares the aims and the code of ethics of the association and is ready to make the payment of the membership fee.

Members must have:

  • At least one year experience of working in the youth sector;
  • Has attended the youth workers’ qualification development training course which is recognized or organized by the Association.

The decision about becoming a member is made by the board of the Association within the 3 month period. The applicant youth worker is informed through an official letter.

The member of the Association should agree with the statute (available in Georgian) and the code of ethics of the organization.
